Joyce W. (Wimer) Duncan

Joyce W. Duncan, 92, of Highland County passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Brookdale of Staunton.  She was born in Highland County on February 23, 1929, the daughter of the late Weldon Wimer, Sr. and Mildred Wimer.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil M. Duncan in 2005.

Mrs. Duncan was a lifelong family caretaker.  She was a member of Wayne Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Gary D. Duncan and his wife, Melaney Q. Duncan of Staunton; two grandchildren, Chris and Nikki and three great-grandchildren, Allison, Brennan and Aiden.

There will be a private family service.
