Joseph S. Gensinger, Jr.

Joseph S. Gensinger, Jr., 82, of Augusta County, Virginia, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024, at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville, Virginia, surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 19, 1941, in Flushing, Long Island, New York, son of the late Joseph S. Gensinger, Sr. and Barbara M. Gensinger.

Joe was an Honorably Discharged Army Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Linda L. Gensinger; his son and daughter-in-law, Christopher J. Gensinger and LesLee R. Gensinger of Goode, Virginia; his daughter, Jennifer L. Serrett of Waynesboro, Virginia and his two granddaughters, Tessa M. Serrett and Brianna L. Serrett both of Waynesboro, Virginia.

Graveside Services with Military Honors were held at 2:00 pm, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Trinity/Bethany Lutheran Church Cemetery, Crimora, Virginia, conducted by Pastor Tim Bohlman of Bethany Lutheran Church.
