John Anthony Truslow

John Anthony Truslow, 65, of Stuarts Draft, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Augusta Health in Fishersville. He was born in Waynesboro on March 16, 1959, a son of the late John Roger Truslow and Melba Dawn (Collins)Truslow Goodwin.

   John enjoyed riding his motorcycle and drawing.

   He is survived by his children: Lynda Owens, Jonathan Owens and wife, Amanda, and Amanda Owens; grandchildren: Hayden, Kash, Jasper, Apollo, Jayce, Alexandra and Brodnax; sisters, Cindy Hernandez and Betty Siron; nieces and nephews: Christina, Jeff, Robbie, Lucas, Jenny, Wendy, and Marissa; as well as a special friend, Bruce Shirley.

   A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

   The family just wants you to remember the man who always found light in every situation, and smiled through every struggle. 

   “May his strength live through me.”

   “May the sun rise in front of me. The rain fall behind me and the wind follow me. May the angels guard my travels as they know what’s ahead of me. Keep me safe through rolling hills and swirling turns. Let the eagle guide me to the mountain tops, let the moons light guide me through the light. Lord thank you for letting me be a biker.”
