John Bradford Porterfield

John Bradford Porterfield, 54, of Arlington, Virginia, passed away at INOVA Fairfax Hospital on Tuesday evening, January 11, 2022. He was born on November 28, 1967, in Washington, DC,

John was a graduate of Maret School, in Washington, DC and was self-employed as a CDL Driver. He was very interested in carpentry.

He was prededed in death by his mother, Harriett Barbara Porterfield.

John  is survived by his father, Hancel “Hank” Wayne Porterfield and wife, Rosario;  his sisters, Johanna Beth Porterfield and Catalina Porterfield, his fiancé, Dolores Miller and her daughter, Caroline Richardson, her son, Isaiah Miller and her grandchildren, Ameryth Miller, Ryia Duran and Leyland Richardson; Jessica Winkfield, Bill Law and numerous other friends also survive.

Friends may pay their respects and view from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday, January 23, 2022 and on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 9:00am to 12:00pm at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville.

A graveside service will be held 2:00pm on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Augusta Memorial Park, 1775 Goose Creek Road, Waynesboro, conducted by The Reverend Shelby Ochs Owen. Family and friends are asked to assemble at Augusta Memorial Park for the service.
