Jessica "Jess" (Ramsey) Stepp

Jessica (Jess) Ramsey Stepp, 30, of Stuarts Draft, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at her home.  She was born in Waynesboro on September 7, 1988.

Jess was a Registered Nurse in the Augusta Health Emergency Department and a 2012 Graduate of James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.  She was a member of Cornerstone Church of Augusta. Her love of life shined through in her smile and she had great faith, strength and a teaching heart.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Elbert Ramsey, Sr. and Joyce Ramsey, her paternal grandmother-in-law, Kathryn Stepp and her grandparents-in-law, Billy and Ada Flippin.

Survivors include her husband, Jon Stepp and her fur-baby, Ella Reese; her parents, Junior and Debbie Ramsey of Lyndhurst; her brother, Trevor Ramsey and his girlfriend, Johanna Shiflett of Fishersville; maternal grandmother, Ethel Wells of Stuarts Draft; maternal great-grandmother, Doshie Meade of Chatham; paternal grandfather-in-law, Harold Stepp, of Waynesboro; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dennis and Wanda Stepp of Stuarts Draft; brother-in-law, Cody Stepp and wife, Emily of Leesburg and their daughter, Devon; sister-in-law, Laura Tyson and husband, Mark of Waynesboro and their daughter, Avery;  Uncle Rob Wells, Aunt Connie and Donnie Campbell, Aunt Tina and Danny Hatter, Aunt Shirley and Mitchell Hughes, Uncle Junior and Mary Ramsey, Uncle Donald and Nan Flippin, Great Uncle Hubert and Suzie, Great Uncle Ralph and Lynette, Great uncle Johnny and Sherry, Great Uncle Junior, Great Uncle Jerry, Cousins Tonya, Phillip, Jenny, Garrett, Kerby, Brittany, Kayley, Kelsey, Sawyer, Bodie, Cobin, Reid, Atlee, Jamie, Tonya, Haley, Richard, Buddy, Peyton, Chloe, Norma, Bill, Anthony, Shane, Travis, Ann, Kate, Matt, Anna, Will, Greg, Jessica, Tyler and Brandon.

A Celebration of Life Party will be held at 5:00 P.M., Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Cornerstone Church of Augusta, 1156 Tinkling Spring Road, Fishersville conducted by Pastor Greg Mayo and Pastor David Chappell.  There will be a private burial.
