Jerry W. Johnson

Jerry W. Johnson, 58, of Waynesboro passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Rivers Edge in Waynesboro. He was born in Waynesboro on October 7, 1964, a son of the late William L. Campbell and Marie C. (Johnson) Morris.

Jerry was self-employed. He greatly enjoyed music and taking walks.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Judy Johnson and Pee Wee, Jr., and step father, Pee Wee Morris.

Survivors include his two sons, R.J. Johnson and Steven Morris; ex-wife, Stephanie Jones; sisters, Peggy Morris of Lexington, Sara Morris (Eugene) of Buchanan, and Connie McCoy of Waynesboro; nieces and nephews: Nikki Deaver (Whitney), Cody McCoy (Sarah), Michael Lamb, Kannon Clark, Maurice Johnson, Crystal and Eloise Gordon; great nieces and nephews: Cheyanne Goodwin, Dustin Deaver, Alston and Kason McCoy; uncle, Harry “Bill” Johnson; numerous cousins, sisters-in-law; Stephany Swearengin, Heather Jones and Tiffany (Jason) Taylor; special friend, Regina Mullins, Mike Moser, and Donna Reynolds.

The family will receive friends at the residence located at 238 Eastside Highway, Waynesboro, on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 5pm until 7pm.
