Jerry Dean Davies

Jerry Dean Davies, 49, of Stuarts Draft, passed away on October 14th, 2021 in Fishersville, Va.

Jerry was born in Waynesboro, Va. to Howell L. Davies and Donna C. Davies on June 13, 1972. He attended Stuarts Draft High School. He was self-employed and most recently owned Dominion Trailer Sales.  

Jerry was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clyde and Lucille Carter, Sr.; father, Howell L. Davies; his aunt, Fonda L. Beverley; uncle, Donald W. Ratcliff; his brother, Kevin W. Davies, and his brother-in-law and best friend, Billy Hoy.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Donna C. Davies; step-father, Kenneth A. Campbell; his brother and sisters and their spouses: Marty (Paula) Davies, Mickey (Cheryl) Davies, Monica Snyder, Julie (Brad) Miller, Aleta Davies. He also leaves behind his special nieces and nephews: Emily Hall, Jesi Hoy, Bradley Snyder and Mickaela Davies.

Funeral services will be held at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home on October 20th, 2021 at 1:00pm with Pastor Doug Brooks Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be Marty Davies, Larry Dale Carter, Tony Cooke, Brad Snyder, Brad Miller, David Hall, Shane Gardner, and Doug and Shawn Snyder.

The family will receive visitors at 605 Horseshoe Circle, Stuarts Draft (Marty Davies) or 237 Salem Church Road, Mt. Sidney (Julie Miller).

Donna is respectfully requesting no visitors at this time.

There will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
