Jasper Strickler Obituary

Jasper L. “Jack” Strickler, Sr., 92, of Waynesboro, passed away on Thursday, January 05, 2023. He was born on April 5, 1930, a son of the late William Strickler and Grace H. Campbell.

Jack proudly served in the United States Army. He worked as an operator for Wayne Tex until his retirement.  Jack was a member of Second Presbyterian Church in Waynesboro. Fishing, hunting, and wood working were a few of his favorite hobbies.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Katherine Masincup Stickler; son, William Andrew Strickler; and siblings: Lester Campbell, Larry, Campbell, Barbara Ann Campbell, and Phyllis Vernon.

Survivors include his children, Luray Strickler, Debbie Strickler, and William “Billy” Strickler; siblings, Leonard T. Campbell, Kenneth Campbell, and Nellie Koon; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at a later date.
