Helen Marie (Lindsay) Sharp

Helen Marie “Sis” Sharp went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 9, 2022 in Waynesboro.

She was born on June 29, 1923 in Philadelphia to the late Clifford and Helen Lindsay.

She was employed by Media Fire Company Auxiliary for 30 years and was a lifetime member of the Waynesboro First Aid Crew Auxiliary for 25 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Sharp; sister, Mary Marcus; brother, Hap Lindsay.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, sister, Charlotte ; Stripes her “Fuzzy Friend”; nephew, David (Connie) Marcus; her special family: Robbie Blackburn, Bernice Payne, Shirley McClary, Sue Clowers, Tim and Becky Quick, Steve and Debbie Merdock, Thomas Merdock, Patricia Merdock, Greg Payne, Lisa Keys, Danny McCormick, Scottie and Lauren Keys, Brandon and Tabby Keys; four precious babies: Amy Hagen, Payton, Keagan Keys; and her First Aid Crew Auxiliary Family.

The family will receive friends from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home in Fishersville.

Following her cremation her ashes will be buried in Pennsylvania.
