Harry DeVore Jr., 63, of Stuarts Draft, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2026, at his residence. He was born June 24, 1963 in Waynesboro the son of Harry DeVore Sr. and Peggy DeVore.
Harry was a graduate of Stuarts Draft High School and for 15 years he was employed with UPG where he served as a Facility Supervisor. He was a member of the Wilson Fire Department for 25 years, serving as a Firefighter and Chief.
He enjoyed working and truly loved playing with his granddaughter, Alana and watching her grow up.
In addition to his parents, Harry is survived by his two daughters, Brittany DeVore of Waynesboro and Ashley DeVore and her husband, Nick Bailey of Waynesboro and his granddaughter, Alana Bailey, his pride and joy.
Harry was a devoted father, a proud son and the most loving “PawPaw” to his precious Alana. He had so many friends he cared for and considered family, from the people he worked with to the people he met throughout the years; he never met a stranger.
There will be a Celebration of Life from 3:00 – 6:00 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Bridge Christian Church, 1275 Goose Creek Road, Fishersville.
