Harold Lee Faust, 70, of Waynesboro passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at his home. He was born in Waynesboro on December 23, 1953, a son of the late Gideon and Catherine Faust.
Harold worked for Wilson Trucking and then as a maintenance worker for Hershey Chocolate until his retirement. He greatly enjoyed racing, hunting, and working on old cars. You could often find Harold out in his garage, buying tools, or out mowing his lawn.
He was preceded in death by his girlfriend, Monica Samuel.
Harold is survived by his children, H. Lee Faust, II and wife, Jennifer of Sykesville, MD and Cynthia Faust of Waynesboro; grandchildren: Blake Awkard and wife, Paige, Mariah Awkard, Peyton Faust, and Mackenzie Faust; brother, Jimmy Faust and wife, Linda; sister, Sue Clark and husband, Golden; special friends: Greg, Wendy and Logan Roberson; Darlene Ralston, Misti, Tracy, and Riley Goolsby; as well as extended family and additional friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home.
