Hallie Inge Martin, of Staunton, VA, formerly of Danville, VA, departed this life to be with her Lord on Friday, February 9, 2024.
Mrs. Martin was born in Danville, VA on September 29, 1933, the daughter of the late William Inge and the late Willie B. Inge. She received her education in the Danville school system. She retired from Dan River Mills after 25 years of service.
Mrs. Martin was loved, respected, and cherished by many. She was dedicated to her family and loved them dearly. She loved playing bingo and going to casinos. She had a special love for animals, especially cats and dogs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Judy Inge and Nannie Fitzgerald and brothers, Willard, Percy, and William Inge, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Frances (Jim) Henderson, and a grandson, that was the love of her life, Jay Henderson; special nieces, nephews, cousins and a special lifelong friend, Bochie Motley.
She will be greatly missed by her four legged companion “Cutie Pie.”

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home in Fishersville, VA.
A graveside service will be held 1:00pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Danville, VA.
