Gwendolyn F. Bartlebaugh

Gwendolyn F. Bartlebaugh, 76, of Waynesboro, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Waynesboro Manor. She was born in Augusta County on February 9, 1948, a daughter of the late Samuel E. Farrar and Mary F. Gallimore.

Gwen retired from CFW. She was a member of Wayside Baptist Church and served as a president of the Garden Club in Waynesboro. Gwen loved to knit, quilt, sew, and do crafts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Stephanie Marshall; husbands, Glenn Humphreys and Gene Bartlebaugh; and her companion of 16 years, Tom Moore.

Survivors include her sister, Faye C. Patterson (Curtis) of Grottoes; a brother, Stephon Farrar (Brenda) of Cleveland, TN, a special daughter, Paula Moore- McClure (Rex) of Stuarts Draft; special nieces, Sherry Sheets (Travis Hewitt) of Stuarts Draft and Tammy Coe of Stuarts Draft; a special friend, Brenda Taylor of Waynesboro, whom all helped take care of her; a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Riverview Cemetery in Waynesboro.

There will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gwen’s memory to the Augusta Health Foundation, c/o Hospice of the Shenandoah, P.O. Box 1000, Fishersville, VA, 22939.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Waynesboro Manor for their loving care of Gwen.
