Evan McCue Howard-Berry, 28 of Fishersville departed this life on February 17, 2021. Evan was born in Charlottesville, VA to Roger Howard and Penny Berry. He attended Waynesboro High School, Ridgeview Christian School and graduated from Fishburne Military School. He received his first degree from Blue Ridge Community College and was currently enrolled in Liberty University working towards a second degree in human resource and business. He was employed by Verizon Wireless in Richmond, VA where he thoroughly enjoyed working in customer service. Evan is preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents Claude Sr. and Louise Howard and paternal aunt Constance Howard of Louisa, Virginia and his maternal grandfather Fred Berry and maternal uncle Jerome Jackson of Waynesboro, VA. Evan is survived by his parents Roger Howard and Penny Berry, sister Tierra Howard-Berry, maternal grandmother Anna Berry, Godfather Franklin Woodson, Godchildren Imarrie and Maddox Berry. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his loyal 4- legged companion “Princess Mya”. He was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church or New Hope, Virginia. Evan's memory will be forever survived by his family, but especially through his friends. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, traveling and cooking out with family and friends. Everyone who knew Evan knew his passion for singing and dedicated time to “Evan naps”. Evan was a rare and loyal kind of “FRIEND”. He was the true definition of a FRIEND. "F” is for Face Timing. He just had that charm about him, that you would always leave in a better mood. "R” is for Respect. Evan respected you in any situation whether you were right or wrong; And he would always tell you that he loved you for that. “I” is for his infectious smile and a laugh that was like no other. “E” Is for everything that you would ask for in a friend. He was thoughtful, genuine and truly cared about his family and friends. “N”, Is for his nurturing personality. "D”, is for his devotion. He was up for whatever, whenever and all of life's adventures. Evan, you will forever and always be in each and every one of our hearts.A visitation for friends and family to pay their respects will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 3-8 pm at Charlton and Groome Funeral, 619 Lifecore Dr., Fishersville.A Celebration of Life will be held at the Church on the Hill, 100 Foursquare Ln., Fishersville, on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 11 am. The service will be conducted by Minister Byron Woods.
