Emma Line (Dean) Moyer, 76, of Waynesboro passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at her grandson’s home. She was born on Monday, July 9, 1945 in Massies Mill, Virginia to the late Willie Johnson and Lucinda Campbell.
Emma worked as a supervisor and was a loyal employee for 20 years with Penny Plate. Some of her favorite’s hobbies were camping, fishing and dancing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Randy Graves and Dwayne Johnson; siblings, Margie Hartman, Jim Johnson, Tom Johnson, John Johnson, Rosie Johnson, Judy Johnson and Dewey Johnson; son-in-law, Mark Maxwell and great grandson, J.D. Lee.
She is survived by her daughter, Revonda Maxwell; daughter-in-law, Karen Johnson; brother, PeeWee; sisters, Jane and Linda; grandchildren: Jesse Love, Jessica Graves, Steven Maxwell (Lacey), and Jake Johnson (Megan); great-grandchildren: Justin “J.D.”, Haley, Makayla, John, Braydon, Kylie, Adalyn, and Conner; great-great grandchild, Renesmae; as well has numerous nieces and nephews and other loved ones.
A private gathering of family and friends will be held.
