Ella Mae Carroll, 59, of Fishersville, entered the gates of heaven on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 in Fishersville.
Ella was born May 2, 1966 in Virginia the late James Edmond Carroll and the late Katherine L. Carroll.
Ella graduated from Buffalo Gap High School and was employed as a Cook at Wright’s Dairy Rite in Staunton for 32 years.
Ella loved being outside playing with her grandson, she was a diehard Cowboys fan and enjoyed caring for her animals.
In additional to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Carroll and a brother, Freddie Carroll.
Ella is survived by her boyfriend, Kenneth Shover; son, Deven Lee Shover and his girlfriend, Makayla Campbell; step-daughter, Heather Nicole Shover and her boyfriend, Chad Howard; grandchildren, Colson Lee Shover, Zaylee Eliana Kiser, Bryson Lee Howard and Blaiden Lee Shover; sister-in-law, Pennie Carroll; nephew, Cody Carroll; niece Rebekah and a nephew, Brian Beverage; grand-nephew, Colby Smith; grand-niece, Ryleigh Smith and Ella’s best friend, Barbara Gump.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, May 4, 2026 at Edward Ave. Baptist Church in Waynesboro and where a memorial service will be held at 7:00pm.
