Edward Lee “Pete” Bishop, 84, of Afton, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 5, 2018 in Fishersville.

He was born on July 31, 1934 in Grahn, Kentucky.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Waynesboro.

He is survived by loving wife, Vera Bishop; children, Kevin Lee Bishop, Susan (Michael) Miller and Timothy (Pam) Bishop; grandsons, Matthew and Joshua Miller.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, VA 22939.

A graveside service will be held 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery in Afton.
