Douglas Lee Beeson

Douglas Lee Beeson, 65, of Staunton, VA went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Augusta Health.

Doug was born on May 10, 1958 in Durham, NC.

Doug was a self employed contractor and pillar of the community, who never met a stranger. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed. He graduated from Northern High School in 1976 and attended Bridge Christian Church

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Beeson and Audrey Knowles; wife of twenty years, Denise (Hodge) Beeson and a brother, Todd Beeson.

He is survived by three children, Trevor Beeson (Brittani) of Staunton, VA, Daniel Beeson of Sarasota, FL and Sondra Beeson of Raleigh, NC; his loving fiancé, Debra Wilkins; sister, Gail Beeson; brother, Wallace Beeson; mother-in-law, Carolyn Stephenson; in-laws, Ingrid Hodge, Audie Hodge, Merlin Stephenson; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 31, 2023 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at Bridge Christian Church, 1275 Old Goose Creek Road, Fishersville, VA 22939 and where a memorial service will be held at 4:00pm.
