Dorsey Dunn Kelly

Dorsey Dunn Kelly, 89, of Staunton, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at home with his family by his side. He was born October 14, 1934 in Hurt, Virginia to the late Celestia and Silas Kelly.

 He served in the United States Army and Retired from the Virginia Department of State Police after 36 years. Dorsey loved to read books and go to the Life Time Center; he was a lifetime member of the Free Masons.

Dorsey is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Gudrun Kunowski and a brother, Wendell Kelly of Wichita, Kansas and twenty-five nephews and nieces.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
