Loving husband, father, and friend—Donald Wayne Shaw passed away on Monday August 23, 2021 after a brave and hard-fought battle with multiple myeloma. Throughout his career in the oil and gas industry, Donald traveled the world; from the former Soviet Union to Singapore; Germany to Ecuador. A lover of golf, a good road trip, and Penn State football, Donald will be dearly missed by many—to include his wife of almost 54 years, Brenda Shaw, and his daughters, Jennifer Shaw (of Austin, Texas) and Megan Wakefield of Fayetteville, North Carolina, as well as his son-in-law, David Wakefield. He will be missed for his generosity, his sense of humor, and for dancing the smoothest Texas two-step around. He will be with us, always.

A celebration of life will be held in Texas when it is safe to gather, share stories, and reminisce with friends and family.
