Delores "Dee" (Johnson) Emberson

Delores (Dee) Emberson, age 88, passed into the arms of Jesus on March 18, 2020 in Fishersville, Virginia. Her husband, Curt, preceded her in death in February of 2005, after 54 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents Mandus and Ella Johnson, and her brothers Curtis, Everett, Milford and Herbert as well as two of her children Mark and Pam.

She was born in New York Mills, MN in 1931. She graduated from high school at New York Mills High School. She attended college at Augsburg college in St Paul Minnesota. Dee and Curt lived most of their married lives in Richfield and Bloomington Minnesota. She was involved heavily with the Gideons ministry with her husband Curt. She had a career in sales of women’s fashion. She moved in with Dwayne and Rhonda Emberson in 2015.

Dee was the mother of four children, Mark (deceased), Dwight, Pam (deceased) and Dwayne; and her grandchildren; Bethany Honaker, Nathan Emberson, Luke Emberson and Naomi Emberson and three great grand children; Hannah, Sarah and Rachel Honaker.
