David Thomas Williams

David T. Williams, 66, of Waynesboro, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at the Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah House in Fishersville. He was born on July 6, 1957, a son of the late Thomas Robert and Janet (Bowling) Williams.

David worked at a number of jobs throughout his life making him a jack of all trades. He greatly enjoyed playing his guitar.

Survivors include his sisters: Nancy Roe, Diane Pageant, Mary Deal, and Katie Breeding; friend and neighbor, Joyce; as well as extended family and friends.  

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah House, the home health hospice staff; especially David’s caregivers, Cindy and Nicole, for all their loving care of David and his family.

Per David’s wishes, no formal service will be conducted.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Charlton and Groome Funeral Home.
