Darren Scott Truslow, 25, of Crimora, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Darren was born at Augusta Medical Center in Fishersville on July 12, 1997 in Fishersville.

Darren graduated from Wilson Memorial High School in 2015. He formally was an automobile detailer for CMA Honda. He loved detailing and driving cars, hanging out with friends and had a love for Honda’s.

“We will miss the sparkle in Darren’s blue eyes and the quickness of his wit.”

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dooms Fire Department, the Pegasus Team and the UVA Trauma Center in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Darren was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, David Barker; paternal great grandparents, Joyce Johnson, Russ Johnson and Howe Truslow.

Darren is survived by his mother, Stephanie Gail Lotts of Crimora; father, Christopher Lynn Truslow of Fishersville; step-mother, Michelle Truslow of Fishersville; siblings, Gabriel Truslow of Fishersville, Hunter Lotts of Stuarts Draft, Zane Armstrong of Stuarts Draft, Madison Armstrong of Stuarts Draft, Michaelyn Reitz of Staunton and Konrad Reitz of Staunton and grandparents, Aileen and Gary Hoke of Waynesboro; grandmother, Frances Truslow (Mawey); and grandfather, Donnie Truslow (Papa).

Darren also leaves other special family members and friends, Ryan Sobczak (Sobby), Keely Davis, Chrissy Young, Tracy Aitcheson, Branson Sager, Christopher Drumheller (Bubba), Brittany Baber, Katy Spradlin, Jamie Terrell and Raf Santryo,
