Darlene Kaye (Huffman) Cash

Darlene Kaye Cash, 71, of Fishersville went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Augusta Health, Fishersville.  She was born in Waynesboro on April 4, 1954, daughter of the late Harry Douglas Huffman and the late Margaret Dodd Huffman.

Darlene attended Kate Collins Middle School in Waynesboro, she then got her GED.  She was a Medical Records Assistant at Augusta Health where she retired in 2011 after twenty years of service.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Caroline Huffman and Delores Huffman and her brother, Jeffrey Huffman.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Alvin Cash; her three daughters, Jamie Simmons, Michelle Johnston and Regina Sprouse; her son, Jeremy Coffey; her ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and her brother Darryl Huffman of West Virginia.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 1:00 PM, in the Chapel of the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Dr., Fishersville, with Linda Cash officiating. Interment will follow in Augusta Memorial Park, Waynesboro. Serving as Active Pallbearers will be, Anthony Cash, Conway Cash, Benjamin Kent, Emmanuel Cline, Adam Cline and Joey Henderson, and Eden Cline will be serving as Honorary Pallbearer.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00PM until the hour of the service, 1:00PM.
