Christopher Scott Hale, 29, of Waynesboro, passed away, Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at his home. He was born in Charlottesville on August 27, 1991 the son of Michael Lane Hale and Pamela Elaine Barnes Hale of Waynesboro.
He was a graduate of Waynesboro High School and he was a Gamer.
Chris never met a person he didn’t like. If Chris ever crossed paths with you, he left a huge impact on your life. He will be greatly missed and his favorite saying was “Everything will be OK.”
He was preceded in death by Paw Paw Hale, Aunt Donna, Great Grandma Walker and Uncle Greg.
In addition to his parents, Michael Lane Hale and Pamela Elaine Barnes Hale, he is survived by his brother, Andrew Barnes and family of Charlottesville; half sister, Rachael Hale and family of Staunton and half sister, Rebecca Waggy and family of Staunton; his Maw Maw, Carolyn Pullin, his Nana, Janet Barnes and his Paw Paw, Lester and Ruth Barnes; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; two best cousins, Amanda Barnes and JoJo Collins Pullin and his special puppy, “Romeo”.
The family would like to express special thanks to Janet “Nana” Barnes and Crissy “Aunt” Botkin.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 9, 2021, at the Straightway Ambassador Church, 247 N. Augusta Ave., Waynesboro.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in Chris’ memory to the UVA Cancer Center.
