Christopher Glenn "Chris" Davis

Christopher Glenn “Chris” Davis, 27 years old, of Afton, passed away on March 16th 2023. He was born in Charlottesville, Virginia on September 28, 1995.

He was preceded in death by his Great Grandmother, Betty Jean Marshall and Grandmother, Crystal Powell.

He is survived by his Dad, Cliff and wife, Jennifer Davis from Afton; Mother, Kristina Davis from Charlottesville; Beloved Brother, Brandon Davis (Jessie Caton); Sisters, who adored him, Kristina Critzer, Peyton and Aliza Wells and Braelynn Davis; Grandparents, Rebecca and Mike Davis and Steve Powell. In addition, Chris will be survived by Scott and Hope Davis; Amber, Julian, and Denver Purvis, Dustin Harris, Hayden Davis and Brooklyn Davis; Beloved “Buddy and Sidekick” Brandon Junior; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Cherished friends that will deeply miss Chris.

Christopher, better known as (Chris), loved to go fishing, hunting, dirtbikes, and watching Washington Commanders football. Chris really enjoyed listening to music, joking around and spending time with his family. Chris was an amazing Son, Uncle and friend. He always was with a smile on his face and telling jokes to make everyone laugh. Chris was always willing to help whenever anyone needed anything.

A Service for Chris will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 1 o’clock at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Dr., Fishersville. We ask that you dress casual because this is what Chris would have wanted. He was a man of simple things and didn’t like dressing up.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Nelson EMT’s, Fire Department and State Troopers and everyone that helped Chris.

“You may be gone from my sight, but you are never gone from my heart. We love and will forever miss you.”
