Charles Anton "Skip" Schmitt

Charles Anton “Skip” Schmitt, 89, of Waynesboro, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023 at his home.  He was born October 29, 1933 in Phillips, Wisconsin, son of the late Charles Paul Schmitt and Jeanette Kuziej Schmitt. 

Skip was a retired Pharmacist and had a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force with four years of service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Schmitt.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marie Sandy Schmitt; his daughter, Nancy Schmitt of Waynesboro; his son, Gary Schmitt and wife, Marie Bridget Schmitt of San Francisco, California and six grandchildren, David Stushek, Kaycie Stushek, Erin Stushek, Sarah Schmitt, Ben Schmitt and Emily Schmitt.

At Skip’s request there will be no formal services.
