Charles Dorsey Dooms

Charles Dorsey Dooms, 70, of Waynesboro, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at the Shendoah Hospice House.  He was born in Waynesboro on October 3, 1954, a son of the late Charles Albert and Anna Frances (Brown) Dooms.

Dorsey graduated from Wilson Memorial High School. He worked as a factory worker with Wayne Manufacturing for many years.  Dorsey was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Dooms Ruritan Club. His hobbies included horticultural and antiquing.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Henry Dooms.

Survivors include his brother, James Dooms and girlfriend, Patricia Gilley; nephew, James Brandon Dooms; as well as extended family and close friends.

Following cremation, there will be no formal services.
