Cecile Holt Obituary

Cecile (Meeks) Holt, 84, of Staunton, passed away on January 2, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Bath County on January 16, 1940, a daughter of the late Cecil Darnell and Vellie Marie Simmons.

Cecile was a devoted and loving mother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Meeks, siblings, and a daughter.

Survivors include her children: Donna Vick of Henrico, Charles Meeks, Jr. of Rockingham County, Glen Meeks of Richmond, Wayne Meeks of Disputana, Donald Meeks of Henrico, and Peggy Meeks of Mechanicsville; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; two brothers; five sisters; as well as extended family and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Charlton and Groome Funeral Home in Fishersville.
