Buford Murphy Peters

Buford Murphy Peters, Christ follower, 76, of Greenville, passed away peaceably and entered heaven on Tuesday, 16th day of October 2018.  He was born on November 23, 1941.  He was preceded in death by Jane G. Peters, his wife of 55 years. He is survived by two daughters, Lucinda P. Black and husband, Keith and Gina Peters; two grandchildren, Ashley Fish and husband, Joshua and Kristen Broce; a brother, Richard Peters and wife, Becky; many family members and friends whom were dear to him.

The family wishes to express appreciation to Dr. Richard Miller, Dr. John Marsh, and the team at Shenandoah House for their kindness and care extended to our family.  The family will receive friends at Middlebrook Church of God, 252 Middlebrook Rd., Middlebrook, Virginia  24459, from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, October 18, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, October 19, 2018, at the church, conducted by Pastor Larry Strickler, Murphy’s #1 friend.  Interment will follow at 2:00pm in Green Hill Cemetery, 1 Overlook Drive, Buena Vista, Virginia  24416.
