Brenda Childress Obituary

Brenda S. Childress, 72, of Staunton, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Augusta Health in Fishersville. She was born in Lexington, Virginia on January 2, 1953, a daughter of the late Edna N. Hartless and Charles E. Bingler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry T. Childress and daughter, Terri L. Childress.

Survivors include her son, Jeff Childress of Fishersville; grandchildren, Shelby Childress and Gavin Childress; siblings: Carolyn McLaughlin of Waynesboro, Sharon Noel of Appomattox, and Dorothea Hatcher of Natural Bridge; special brother-in-law, Willie Hatcher; as well as extended family and friends.

There will be no formal services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Charlton and Groome Funeral Home in Fishersville.
