Barry Lynn Fralin, 67, of Crimora, passed unexpectedly on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
He was born on January 1, 1957 in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Barry spent a lot of time in New Jersey when he was growing up. Barry had a lifelong career as a truck driver after obtaining his CDL. He loved the New York Jets and Virginia Cavaliers. Barry is known for his love of music and gathering with family and friends.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Leonard Fralin, Jr. and Shirley Ann Fralin (McCauley), and brother –in-law, Bart Frazier.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Fralin; their son, Brandon Fralin and wife, Lindsay of Crimora; his grandson, Wade Fralin ; son, Nicholas Fralin and fiancé, Chrystal Wheeler of Staunton; his grandchildren: Gianna, Bristol, and Myles Fralin; brother, Leonard Fralin and wife, Brenda of Crimora; sisters:
Jeannette McGarry and husband, Dennis of Stuarts Draft, Elisa Moran and husband, Jerry of Waynesboro, and Christa Frazier of Waynesboro; as well as a numerous amount of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6pm on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends after the service.
