Arthur "Arty" M. Campbell, III (Pepa)

Arthur “Arty” M. Campbell, III, “Pepa”, 66, of Waynesboro, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at his home. He was born October 31, 1957 in Waynesboro, son of the late Arthur M. Campbell, Jr. and Mary Kerby Campbell.

Arty was a 1976 graduate of Waynesboro High School, attended Blue Ridge Community College and was the owner of C&C Construction and Welding. He was a member of the Rotary Club of Waynesboro and First Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School. An avid UVA fan and Generals fan, he was also a blue grass lover and a classic rock aficionado. Arty was a loving, kind, caring and supportive brother, father, Pepa, friend and community member.

The family would like to express special appreciation to the Waynesboro Police Department and the Waynesboro First Aid Crew.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Campbell, his uncle, Marvin Kerby and his aunt, Ethel Flippo.

Survivors include his son, A. C. Campbell (Katie) of Waynesboro; his daughter, Amanda Campbell of Richmond; his two grandchildren, Landon Campbell and Bayley Campbell; his sister, Deena Campbell Meadows (Jim) of Yorktown, VA and his brother, Randy Campbell of Waynesboro.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, December 28, 2023 in the Chapel of Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 pm, prior to the service.
