Arlene Sue (Kelly) Ralston

Arlene Sue Ralston, 87, of Fishersville, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at her home. She was born in Mostoe, VA, on October 19, 1937, a daughter of the late Alden and Bessie Mae Kelly.

Arlene worked as a nurse for many years. She grew up and attended in her youth Wanless Methodist Church.  Spending time with her family and spoiling her dog, Deamon where a few of her favorite hobbies.

In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her children: Wilbur Ray Cassell, Joyce Ann Riverlend, and David Donald Cassell; granddaughter, Melissa Dawn Cassell; siblings: Mary Jane O’Neal, Ray Kelly, Bobbie Kelly, Garnett Kelly, and James Kelly.

Survivors include her partner for 38 years, Allen Beverage; children, Patsy Jane Tallman, Charles William Cassell, and Barbara Ellen Grace Tallman; 12 grandchildren; as well as numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, niece, nephews, and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2pm on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Augusta Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 12pm-2pm at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home.
