Andrea May Marshall

 Andrea May Marshall, 68, of Staunton, VA, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the Shenandoah Hospice House in Fishersville. She was born on September 24, 1956, a daughter of the late Edward Varney and Patsy Anne Randall.

Andrea was the proprietor of the Little River Bed and Breakfast in Floyd, VA. She was a volunteer with the Jones Community Garden and the Augusta County Hospice. Andrea also was a jewelry maker with the Floyd Artist Association. Traveling, listening to music, reading, hiking, silversmithing, and being of service to others were a few of her favorite hobbies.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Lynn Spry of Virgilina, VA, and special friends: Paige Vinson, Lisa Appleton, Cielo Hodson, Leaf Myczack, and Susan Goranson. Of generous spirit ~ she was of service to those in need and she enjoyed a close circle of friends.

Andrea would want everyone to remember that “life doesn’t have to be prefect to be wonderful.”

Per Andrea’s wishes, there will be a graveside service for the community and friends in Pilot, VA, at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in Andrea’s memory to your local Habitat for Humanity.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Shenandoah Hospice House and the team with Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah for their loving care of Andrea.
