Alice Marie (Rankin) Floyd

Alice Marie (Rankin) Floyd, 82, also known as Dolly to her family and friends, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 22, 2023.

She was born November 22, 1940, in New Hope, Virginia, a daughter of the late Warren E. Rankin, Sr. and Ethel Virginia (Day) Rankin. She was a member of Waynesboro Free Methodist Church. 

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Walter L. Floyd; two daughters, Lisa Floyd of Staunton, and Lori Kindig (Ashley) of Fishersville; and two grandchildren, Breanna Kindig and Cole Kindig.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Augusta Memorial Park, Waynesboro with Pastor Scott Brodd officiating.
