Agnes Wills

Agnes Ramsey Wills, 88, of Staunton, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 16, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Rockbridge County on May 7, 1933, a daughter of the late Bernard, Sr. and Mamie (Floyd) Clark.

Agnes was a devoted Christian and attended Holiness Church. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. Agnes greatly enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Willie Wills; sisters, Vivian Marcum and Frances Johnson; and father of her children, William Claude Ramsey.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: William Tex Ramsey, Gwendolyn Ann Tabares, Patricia Annette Wager, Betty Jo Coleman, Pamela Jean Hall, and Charles Claude Ramsey; 11 grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 5:00 P. M., Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Glen Maury Park, Maury River Road, Buena Vista, VA 24416.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Agnes’s nurse, Carol, and social worker, Joy, with Hospice of the Shenandoah for all their loving care of Agnes and her family.
