A. Jackie (Quick) Walker

A. Jackie Walker, 96, of Staunton, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 in Staunton, VA.

Jackie was born on September 30, 1928 in Battle Creek, Michigan to the late Metford G. Quick and the late Marie G. Quick.

Jackie retired from the State of Virginia as an Admission Specialist in the mental health field.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses and caregivers at Staunton Post Acute and Rehabilitation, for their dedicated care shown to Jackie.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Herbert Quick and Daniel Quick, and a daughter, Terry M. Campbell.

She is survived by her children, Joseph “Jody” Walker, Jr. and Cheri Atkins; her grandchildren, Pamela Rosen, Ryan Campbell and his wife, Heather, Amy Walker, Devin Hite, Leah Urrasio, Anna Bernabe, Logan Atkins and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Augusta Memorial Park,  Waynesboro, VA. Active pallbearers are Jody Walker, Ryan Campbell, Jared Rosen, Jacob Rosen, Scott Smiley, and Philip Bowen.
