Richard S. Plaugher, Jr.

Richard S. Plaugher, Jr. of Staunton, VA, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at his home.  He was born February 25, 1951, in Arlington, VA to Louise Plaugher and the late Richard S. Plaugher, Sr.

He retired in 2011 from ABC Imaging and was a member of Victory Worship Center, Staunton. He had a love for photography, traveling, Civil War Battlefields, and his extended family. 

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by first wife, Deborah Plaugher whom he married in July 1976.  They remained married until her death in August 2010.  He was also preceded by his brother Douglas Plaugher.

In addition to his mother, Rick is survived by his wife, Brenda Plaugher; children, Corrie Anne Plaugher of Fairfax; Paul Steven (Tina) Plaugher of Clifton, Andrew Timothy (Lauren) Plaugher of Centreville, Krista Brown (Matthew) Nordan of Fairfax; grandchildren, Andrew, Annalyn, Aimee and Isabella Plaugher. He is also survived by his siblings, Deborah (Pete) Slater, Martha (Steven) Jones, Paul (Cheryl) Plaugher and Karen (Mike) Kelly.

The family will receive friends from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, Friday, February 9, 2018, at Community Church of God, 2500 Gallows Road, Dunn Loring, VA 22027 and where a funeral service will be held 11:00am, Saturday, February 10, 2018.  Burial will follow at Fairfax Memorial Park in Fairfax.
