Richard Lee Lowery II

Richard Lee Lowery, II, 55, of Waynesboro, went to be with the Lord, Thursday January 4, 2018 at Augusta Health.  He was born November 5, 1962, in Waynesboro, son of Rebecca Drumheller Lowery of Waynesboro and the late Richard Lee Lowery.

Richard was a plumber with Draft Electric and Plumbing.  He loved bowling, softball and golf and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Kim Lowery Martin.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Marilyn Ritchie Lowery; his children, April Wilson and husband, Jason of Lyndhurst, Jeremy Shiflett and Jen and Jason Shiflett and wife, Candi, all of Crimora; two brothers, Tony Kennedy of Waynesboro, Mark Lowery and wife, Melody of Mt. Sidney; two sisters, Nina Wood of Waynesboro and Clarissa Garrett and husband, Tory of Afton; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; special aunt and uncle, Jerry and Virginia Horn of Fishersville and Aunt Patsy Kestner of Greensboro, North Carolina; brother-in-law, Paul Ritchie of Richmond and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Bethany Lutheran Church, corner of W. Main Street and Maple Avenue, Waynesboro, conducted by Pastor Tim Bohlmann.
