Paul Henry Swisher

Paul Henry Swisher, 69, of Stuarts Draft died on Monday, May 29, 2017 at his home.

Paul was born September 28, 1947 in Waynesboro to the late William Henry and Gladys May (Broughman) Swisher.

Paul was employed by H.P. Alexander Company where he worked as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. He enjoyed working outside, building things, remolding cars and tractors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Edward; sister, Blanch Swisher McFalls and her husband, Charles McFalls and a nephew, Bobby Swisher.

He is survived by his brothers, Billy Swisher, Benny Swisher and his wife, Linda and Tommy Swisher; nieces and nephews, Wendy Baber and her husband, J.W., Frankie Swisher and his wife, Elizabeth, Christy Swisher, Charlie Swisher and Nelson Swisher; great nieces and nephews, Travis Baber and his fiancé, Lindsey Gill, Trevor Baber, Morgan Swisher, Josh Swisher, Ben Tidd, Skylar Swisher and Bobby Swisher.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, VA 22939 and other times at the home of Benny and Linda Swisher, 93 Meadow View Lane, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477.

Funeral service will be held 11:00am on Monday, June 12, 2017 in the chapel of Charlton and Groome Funeral Home.

Burial will be private.
