Paul Moreland “Buddy” Burns, Jr., 68, of Fishersville passed away Monday, April 23, 2018.
Mr. Burns is survived by his brother, Thomas K. Burns and his wife Cheryl; a sister, Bonnie B. Hall and her husband Stewart; a nephew, Lucas A. Burns; a niece, Katie M. Burns; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Buddy was a 1968 graduate of Wilson Memorial High School and attended Blue Ridge Community College for Electronic Technology. He worked at Avionics Specialties for several years as a technician and most recently, for Harris Teeter as a meat cutter. Buddy was a life long member of the Shenandoah Valley Gem and Mineral Society and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Augusta Memorial Park officiated by Pastor Derek Boggs.
