Patricia "Pat" (Liebal) Snead

Patricia “Pat” Snead, 76, of Waynesboro, passed away, Saturday, July 29, 2017, at her home.  She was born August 22, 1940 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late George and Dorothy Liebal.

Pat retired with 50 years of service at Jim Snead Ford, Waynesboro. She loved spending time with her family and friends during family gatherings and she thoroughly enjoyed her time at the beach.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Snead; two daughters, Robin Rowe and Ivy Snead; her son, Larry Snead and her sister, Mary Liebal.

Survivors include her three daughters, Ella Ross of Waynesboro, Beth (Chris) Balsley of Waynesboro and Stephanie (Bengie) Frenger of Waynesboro; two brothers, Charles (Carmella) Liebal of Virginia and George (Jeannie) Liebal, Jr. of Maryland; two sisters, Helen and Christine Liebal both of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews and special friends, Jean, LuAnn, Judy and Frances.

A Memorial Gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8PM, Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Dr. Donald Lee and Augusta Health-Hospice of the Shenandoah for their very special care of Pat.
