Obender "Bea" Gunn

Obender “Bea” Gunn, 82, of Waynesboro, went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 2, 2019, at her home.  She was born July 16, 1936 in Roxboro, North Carolina.

Bea is a member of Oak Grove Restoration Ministries and retired from Hershey with twelve years of service.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, James R. Gunn, Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, James R. Gunn, Sr.; two sons, Joseph Anthony Gunn and wife, Amy of Waynesboro and Alec G. Gunn and wife, Tracy of Waynesboro; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Oak Grove Baptist Restoration Ministries, 223 Oak Grove Church Road, Waynesboro, conducted by Bishop T. E. Payne, Sr., Pastor. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Waynesboro.

There will be no formal family night, however, family and friends are invited to pay respects and view on Wednesday, February 6th between the hours of 9 A.M. and 8 P.M. at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville.
