Mary E. Steppe Obituary

Mary E. Steppe, 82, of Waynesboro, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 14, 2018 in Waynesboro.

She was born on November 21, 1935 in Charlottesville to the late Thomas E. Johnson and the late Marie A. Collins Johnson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Pershing Steppe, they were married on January 10, 1965 and he passed away in March 1977; brothers, William, Richard, Thomas, James and Charles Johnson; sister, Lillian Christine Jackson and a great grandson, Marten Joshua Hoffman.

She is survived by a son, Wayne A. Steppe and a daughter, Marilyn M. Steppe Hoffman; grandchildren, Nathaniel P. Hoffman and his wife, Jessica A. Hoffman and Hannah E. Hoffman;

Great grandchildren, Samuel Hoffman, Zachariah P. Hoffman, Skylar M. Hoffman, Alyssa J. Hoffman and Christina M. Hoffman; brother, Robert Johnson and a sister, Virginia Johnson.
