Larry Joe Facemire, 78, of Waynesboro, VA, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Augusta Nursing and Rehab, Fishersville, VA. He was born January 31, 1940 in Richwood, WV, son of the late Wallace Gene Facemire and Mary Garris Boggs Facemire.
Larry, a Master Electrician with over 50 years of experience, owned his own business, Electric, Inc., in Northern Virginia and in the Lake Anna, VA area. For 10 years he sat on the Arlington County Board of Zoning Appeals. He was an Army veteran.
He enjoyed hunting, bowling, fishing, and spending time with his family and his dog, Reese’s. For over 58 years he was a member of the Hunt Club at Mount Storm, WV.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Nancy Facemire; his children, Gregory Facemire and wife, Evelyn, of Richmond, VA; Terry Facemire and wife, Sherry of Louisa County, VA; and Carla Moore and husband, Dave of Woodbridge, VA; ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
At Larry’s request there will be no formal service.
