Kim Elaine Painter Baber, 61, of Raphine, passed away Thursday October 11, 2018 at Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born April 14, 1957 in Waynesboro, daughter of the late Samuel Painter and Frances Viola Jackson.
Kim had worked at the Wagon Wheel, the Schooner and at the Food Lion in Stuarts Draft and was a member of the Waynesboro Moose and the Waynesboro Eagles. She loved playing pool and Bingo. She was a loving, caring and giving person.
Survivors include her son, Shannon Jackson Baber Fitzgerald; one grandson, Blake Graves; two brothers, Samuel Painter, Jr. and Alfred Keith Painter; her step-father, Percy Jackson; three step-sisters; one step-brother; several nieces and nephews to include a special niece, Ashley Painter and very special friends, Jack Fitzgerald, Patty Bradshaw, Tabby Humphrey and many other family members and friends.
A Memorial Service Gathering will be held 2:00 P. M., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Waynesboro Moose Lodge, 481 Hopeman Parkway, Waynesboro, Virginia 22980.
The family is being served by Charlton and Groome Funeral Home and Crematory, Fishersville.
