Jenny Catherine (Sorrells) Kerr

Jenny Catherine Sorrells Kerr, 80, of Staunton, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born in Rockbridge County March 23, 1939, daughter of the late Andy B. Sorrells and Lelia F. Sorrells.

Catherine was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Darryl Kerr and wife, Amanda of Vesuvius, Kaye Brooks and husband, Timmy of Staunton, Dean Kerr of Staunton, Travis Kerr and wife, Sherry of Vesuvius and Kim Martin and husband, Shane of Staunton; two sisters, Thelma Cranston  and Lois Sorrells, both of Buena Vista; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4 – 6 pm, Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home, 619 Lifecore Dr., Fishersville.
