James Woodruff Biggers, 89, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. He was born in Nashville, TN on December 14, 1928. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by four sisters, Delores Alford, Louise Butler, Mary (Pip) Ellis, and Margaret Myers. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Bracey Biggers of 70 years; two children, Jerry W. Biggers and wife, Gayle, and Becky Huffman and husband, Lyle; six grandchildren, Cali Hammer and husband, Adam, Jesse W, Biggers, Dr. Jon W. Biggers and wife, Whitney, Ginger McDonaldson and husband, Larry, Tara Stroop and husband, Kevin, Tonya Magno and husband, Ronnie; two step-grandchildren, Jennifer Baker and husband, Randy, Chris Huffman and Aubrey Bradford; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was a member of Waynesboro Church of Christ and will be remembered by all that knew him of his kind and gentle spirit. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Joelton Hills Cemetery in Joelton, TN, with Joe Rushing of Main Street Church of Christ of Springfield, TN conducting the service.
