Geraldine "Gerry" Lovania (Glass) Eutsler

Mrs. Geraldine "Gerry" Lovania (Glass) Eutsler, daughter of the late Elwood Forest [1909-1962] and Susie (Ross) Glass [1912-2001]; last member of this conjugal union has departed life on Earth peacefully. On September 8th, 2019 at the age of 86, she entered her heavenly home. 

Geraldine was born into the family on July 8th,1933; firstborn and eldest of six. Her parents as well as all of her siblings precede her in death: Johann [1940], Wayne Adam [1937-1985], Bobby Lee [1935-1991], Douglas "Doug" R. [1939-1993], and her baby brother who passed away just last year, Donald "Donnie" Glass [1941-2018]. 

She became a widow and never remarried after her husband of 44 years, Arlen Dennett Eutsler, deceased in 2009. Both were members of the Waynesboro Mennonite church.

Although Geraldine never had children of her own she was blessed with many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly and always cherished. She leaves behind one she raised as her own and who held a special place in her heart, Regina 'Puddin' Fisher; her niece, her caregiver and the one with whom she lived. She was also fortunate to have been blessed with many grand, as well as great-grand nieces and nephews. 

To cherish her memories, she leaves behind wonderful cousins who were more like siblings to her, and who accompanied her till the very end; she also leaves sisters and brothers-in-law, as well as dear friends who will miss her. One who will always remember her is a special friend, one who was always near and dear to her heart, Michael Dudley. 

Geraldine touched the lives of many throughout her life while working at Waynesboro Community Hospital and Augusta Health from where she retired. 

To know Geraldine was to love her. She was a beautiful soul who loved unconditionally, who always shared a heartwarming smile, and whose soft tone voice always provided comfort to those who spent time with her. She leaves behind many who will always love and miss her dearly. 

All are invited to gather, remember and celebrate Geraldine's life on Thursday, September 12th at the Waynesboro Mennonite Church on Hopeman Parkway at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, 

Memorial contributions will be greatly appreciated and may be sent to her niece Regina to help with funeral expenses.
